Our Leadership

The Ardie Fay Foundation is led by people who believe in service, faith, and compassion. What began as a personal mission to honor the memory of a beloved mother and grandmother has grown into a shared calling to care for others.

Guided by Faith and Family

The foundation is led by Craig and Travis Schelling, a husband and wife who carry both the heart and vision of this work. Their leadership comes from lived experience. They have walked the road of caregiving, seen the challenges families face, and felt the deep need for more love and connection in the lives of seniors. Their story is rooted in family. Through their care for Ardie Fay Robertson, they learned that true compassion is not just about providing help but about being present. That lesson became the foundation of everything they do today.

Craig Schelling – A Steady Hand and a Servant’s Heart

Craig is known for his calm strength and steady faith. He has always believed that leadership means serving others first. His quiet kindness and strong sense of responsibility have guided the foundation from the beginning.

Craig brings decades of personal and professional experience to his role, but more importantly, he brings understanding. He has seen how small acts of care can change lives, and he makes sure the foundation’s work always reflects that belief.

For Craig, this foundation is not a project or a business. It is a way to live out his faith and to make sure no senior feels forgotten or alone. His leadership reminds everyone involved that compassion, done consistently, has the power to heal hearts and strengthen communities.

Travis Schelling – Carrying the Legacy Forward

Travis brings fresh energy and deep conviction to the foundation’s mission. Growing up, she watched her family care for others and learned that service is one of the highest forms of love. She carries that lesson into every part of her work.

Travis focuses on expanding outreach and building community partnerships that help the foundation reach more people. As a medical provider in the community, she has a gift for connecting with others and for inspiring volunteers to get involved. Her heart for people and her drive to make a difference ensure that the foundation continues to grow while staying true to its purpose.

When Travis talks about the foundation, she always brings it back to the love of her mother, Ardie Fay. “We do this because we are called to love,” she says. That simple truth guides her leadership and keeps the mission grounded in humility and hope.

A Shared Vision

Together, Craig and Travis lead by example. They do not just talk about serving others — they live it every day. Whether it’s delivering care packages, visiting seniors, or praying with families, they are hands-on leaders who believe in being present.

Their shared vision is clear. They want the Ardie Fay Foundation to be a light in the lives of seniors and families who feel forgotten. They want it to be a place where love is felt, faith is lived, and hope is renewed.

Craig and Travis are quick to say that this foundation is not about them. It is about honoring God, continuing Ardie Fay’s legacy, and building a community where people truly care for one another.

Our Extended Family of Support

The leadership team also includes dedicated volunteers and supporters who give their time, skills, and prayers to make the mission possible. From community members who help fund programs, every person who joins in becomes part of the Ardie Fay Foundation family.

Together, this team keeps the work going — one visit, one conversation, one act of kindness at a time. It is a shared effort built on faith and held together by love.

Leading With Purpose

The Ardie Fay Foundation is more than an organization. It is a reflection of what can happen when faith meets compassion and action follows love. Under Craig and Travis’s leadership, that purpose remains at the center of everything.

They often say that the best kind of leadership is the kind you can feel — the kind that shows up quietly, serves humbly, and loves deeply. That is exactly the kind of leadership guiding this foundation forward.
